Cyndi Lauper has just unveiled her final tour, "The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour." Marking her first significant journey in over ten years, it will kick off in Montreal and wrap up in Chicago.

Cyndi Lauper, the iconic "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" singer-songwriter, has declared her retirement from touring. This Monday morning, she revealed plans for a farewell tour, embarking on a final journey through 23 North American cities this fall before bidding adieu to the road. Although Lauper hasn't disclosed her motivations for this decision, speculation suggests she might elaborate later this week while promoting her upcoming documentary, "Let the Canary Sing," premiering on Paramount+ Tuesday.

Dubbed "The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour," this monumental road trip marks her first major tour in over a decade. Commencing on October 18 in Montreal, it will culminate on December 5 at Chicago's United Center.

During this tour, Lauper will grace arenas across the nation, including notable venues like New York's Madison Square Garden on October 30, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on November 1, Los Angeles' Intuit Dome on November 23, the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on November 24, and San Francisco's Chase Center on November 26. Additionally, she'll perform a non-arena show at Detroit's Fox Theatre on October 24. (For a complete list of tour dates, see below.)

Ticket sales will commence with an artist presale on Tuesday, followed by other presale events before general sales launch on Friday at 10 a.m. local time, available at LiveNation.com.

Stay tuned for announcements regarding opening acts.
